about the event
Late-autumn trail running race in the Upper-Sûre nature park, with ITRA-certified distances from 10 km up to the long trail. The 2026 edition is on Sunday 22 November at 7 Schoulstrooss in Heiderscheid. The 57 km starts at 08:00 and a three-leg team version at 08:15. The 33 km and 21 km follow at 09:40 and the 10 km at 10:45. There are also 21 km and 10 km walks and a 10 km cani-trail. Entries close on 16 November. Aid stations have no cups, so bring your own.

- Sunday 22 November 2026 from 7 Schoulstrooss in Heiderscheid. The ChipLauf entry page lists: 57 km Trail Uewersauer at 08:00; 57 km Team Trail (relay legs of 17.9, 23.3 and 16.2 km) at 08:15; 10 km Cani Trail H-Gronn at 09:20; 33 km Trail Lëlz and 21 km Trail Esch Sauer at 09:40; 21 km Walk Esch Sauer at 09:45; 10 km Trail H-Gronn and 10 km Walk H-Gronn at 10:45. Minimum age is 18, or 16 for the 10 km events and the cani-trail.
- How much does the Trail Uewersauer 2026 cost, and when do entries close?
- Entries opened on ChipLauf on 18 June 2026 at 12:00 and close on 16 November 2026 at 23:59; a late band at a higher rate runs from 17 to 21 November. Fees: 57 km 65 € until 12 October, 70 € from 13 October to 16 November, 85 € late; 57 km team 120 / 125 / 140 €; 33 km and 21 km trails 42 / 45 / 60 €; 21 km walk 38 / 45 / 55 €; 10 km trail 22 € then 25 €; 10 km walk 22 / 25 / 30 €; 10 km cani-trail 38 / 45 / 55 €. An optional entry-fee insurance costs 8 €. Places are capped at 300 on the 57 km, 40 teams, 450 on the 33 km, 500 on the 21 km, 300 on the 10 km trail and 50 on the cani-trail. On 28 September 2026 the entry list showed 221 runners on the 57 km, 272 on the 33 km, 178 on the 21 km and 65 on the 10 km, so places remained.
- How much climbing is there on the Trail Uewersauer, and what are the cut-off times?
- The organiser's course pages (still headed 16 November 2025 when checked) give: 57.4 km with about 2,060 m of climbing, finish closing at 16:45; 33.8 km with about 1,240 m, finish closing at 15:00; 21 km with about 720 m, finish closing at 13:00; 10 km (9.9 km) with about 350 m; walks with the finish closing at 16:00. All courses are ITRA-certified. The 57 km has aid stations at km 9.9, 17.9, 29.8, 36.3, 41.2 and 51.7 plus the finish; the 2025 rules state that runners arriving after the expected passage time of the slowest participant are no longer guaranteed supplies. In 2025 the prize-givings were at about 11:30 (cani-trail), 12:30 (10 km and 21 km), 14:30 (33 km) and 15:00 (57 km and team).
- Where and when do I collect my bib for the Trail Uewersauer?
- The 2026 rules were not yet online when checked (the site links the 2025 rules). In 2025, late entries and bib collection took place at the race office by the hall polyvalent in Heiderscheid on Saturday 15 November from 16:00 to 18:30 and on Sunday 16 November from 06:15 to 07:15 for the 57 km and team trail, 07:15 to 08:30 for the cani-trail, 07:15 to 09:00 for the 33 km and 21 km, and 08:45 to 10:00 for the 10 km. Timing uses a disposable chip in the bib. The entry fee includes the aid stations, a gift and a hot meal after the finish. No cups are handed out at aid stations, so bring your own. Cloakroom, changing rooms and showers are at the hall.
