Sitraka Forler
I'm a systems architect at POST Luxembourg, where I have worked on observability and AIOps since 2025: the architecture that lets teams see their systems (Splunk, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK), service modelling in the CMDB, automated incident response and machine-learning anomaly detection.
Separately, I am co-founder of LuxAIOps, and I teach in French higher education as an industry practitioner: data projects, machine learning and corporate strategy. I'm based in Luxembourg City.

LuxAIOps and this site
LuxAIOps (opens in a new tab), which I co-founded with partners, is a venture separate from my job: European, sovereignty-first observability with hybrid edge agents, built for teams that can't ship their telemetry to US clouds.
Also shipping. I curate the largest hand-verified events calendar in Luxembourg and build open-source tools and open-data dashboards. The free tools on this site are grouped under my personal label, Sitraka Labs.
On the side, I ship small, sharp products (LaTeX tooling, finance education), teach Python & SQL, and keep this public notebook: the tech, finance and culture events in Luxembourg I'd actually attend (annotated with my take) plus the planning tools I use myself. Fast, honest, and your data stays in Europe.
Teaching
Teaching sits alongside my job. At Centrale Méditerranée in Marseille, I work with final-year students of the DDEFI option: the school's course wiki lists me as an instructor for the data project parts of several course units, from understanding the business question to data preparation, modelling and validation, for instance in “Data and Decisions (opens in a new tab)” and “Models and Decisions (opens in a new tab)”. This year I also teach the option's 36-hour Machine Learning course.
At AMSE (Aix-Marseille School of Economics), I co-teach Corporate Strategy in the M2 DADEE (Data, Analysis, Decision, Economic Evaluation), 24 hours in English in the second semester, as the programme's syllabus (opens in a new tab) shows. I also teach at IAE Metz, and from December 2026 I give Data Analytics for Business, a six-session course in the M2 International Management of the Université Catholique de Lille. Courses and dates are on my teaching page.
Research and writing
In economics, I co-wrote a book chapter with G. Dufrénot, H. Mahaman and K. Sugimoto: “Productivity Gaps in the Developing World: An International Comparison”, chapter 12 (pp. 344–387) of Topical Issues in International Development and Economics, edited by D. Avom and G. Dufrénot (Cambridge Scholars Publishing (opens in a new tab), 2023). It is also listed on my Google Scholar profile (opens in a new tab).
I write signed articles, in French, for AGEFI Luxembourg, on European digital sovereignty and the economics of AI:
- La souveraineté numérique européenne : pourquoi nous ne pouvons pas nous en passer (opens in a new tab)European digital sovereignty: why we cannot do without it. AGEFI Luxembourg, 7 November 2025.
- Souveraineté numérique européenne : former pour ne plus dépendre (opens in a new tab)European digital sovereignty: training so we no longer depend on others. AGEFI Luxembourg, March 2026.
- La fin de l’euphorie, le début de la dette ? (opens in a new tab)The end of the euphoria, the start of the debt? AGEFI Luxembourg, July 2026.
Longer posts, mostly in English, on AI, engineering and other subjects, are on Medium (opens in a new tab).
Talks and videos
On 20 June 2025 I gave a 15-minute lunch talk at Voxxed Days Luxembourg, at Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains: “From Data to Decisions: AI-Powered Software Development in the Age of Intelligent Systems” (opens in a new tab). The recording (opens in a new tab) is on the conference's YouTube channel.
Since that talk: AI agents, explained step by step

Education
I studied at AMSE (Aix-Marseille School of Economics) and graduated from its master's programme in economics. The school features me in its alumni testimonials (opens in a new tab), with a short video (opens in a new tab).
Career
Before POST Luxembourg, I worked as a senior data scientist, a consultant in data and digital transformation, a data scientist and web analyst, and a data analyst in industry. The dated track record, employer by employer, is on my work page.
