my take
An obstacle race in a city centre rather than a muddy field, so friends can watch the whole thing from a café. The 2.5 km makes it a first race for people who would never enter a road race.
about the event
Obstacle cross race through the centre of Saarbrücken over 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km and 10 km. The course is built out of scaffolding, tyre stacks, cable reels, hay bales and a boxing ring, which runners climb over, under and through. Open to individuals and teams.
