About the event (2027 edition)
The 2027 Red Rock Challenge is expected on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October 2027, dates estimated from previous editions (held on the weekend of the second Sunday of October in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, the organiser's own "second weekend of October"); the organiser has not announced them yet. Run by the Red Rock Challenge asbl, it combines trail running, X-duathlon, gravel and mountain biking through the former mining area of southern Luxembourg. In recent editions the trail runs (10.5, 19.2 and 29 km) took place on the Saturday and the bike races on the Sunday. This page will be updated as soon as the official date is published.
