my take
Losheim is about 45 minutes from Luxembourg City, which makes a 100 km ultra a surprisingly local proposition. The 14 km and the walking category keep it open to everyone else.
about the event
Two-day trail-running festival in the Saar-Hunsrück uplands, the largest of its kind in Saarland. Courses run from 14 km with 355 m of climbing up to 100 km with 3,352 m, taking in 24 km, 51 km and 76 km options plus a 24 km walking category.
