my take
Over a thousand metres of climbing in sixteen kilometres tells you what kind of terrain this is. The Hérou meander is one of the best views in the Ardennes and you get it on foot.
about the event
Trail on the technical terrain around the Hérou rock spur above the Ourthe. Six races: 7.5 km with 320 m of climbing, 16.4 km with 1,050 m, 25.3 km with 1,450 m, 33 km with 1,750 m, a 42.9 km marathon trail with 2,200 m and the 60 km Maxi Hérou with 2,700 m.
