The 50th edition of the Foyer Vollekslaf Walfer runs on Sunday 4 October 2026 on a new course through the Alzette valley in Walferdange. The 12.5 km main race, the 5.4 km jogging and the 5.4 km junior race start together at 10:00 from 3, route de Diekirch, and the 1 km Minilaf for children starts at 09:50. Online entry is through ChipLauf, with late entries on site on Friday and Saturday but not on race morning.
my takeFifty editions is a lot for a country this size, and it shows in how smoothly the morning runs. The 5.5 km jogging option is untimed enough to be sociable.

- Yes, at the Centre culturel Prince Henri on Friday 2 October from 17:00 to 19:00 and on Saturday 3 October from 10:30 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. On Sunday morning there is no registration: bibs can only be collected.
- Where can I park for the Walfer Vollekslaf, and do trains run?
- The organiser lists the eduPôle visitor car park for runners, the Garage Losch car park and the Stade Henri Dunant football ground in Beggen. Trains run normally on race day, and a special stop is set up in both directions between Luxembourg and Mersch. The route de Luxembourg and the rue de Steinsel are closed from 09:00 to about 10:30.
