How do I get to the Hunnefeier?

The organiser announces free shuttle buses from nearby car parks; on site, the festival runs along the Moselle bank and is easily explored on foot. On Sunday 18 October the commune closes the N10 in Schengen to traffic between the Rue Robert Goebbels junction and the Aral station, and Rue Robert Goebbels itself is closed from Friday 16 October at 12:00 to Monday 19 October at 12:00.

Over 100 market stalls offer handmade crafts, regional products, antiques and gifts. Local winemakers serve Crémants, Rieslings, Pinot Gris and freshly pressed grape juice, and food vendors sell traditional Luxembourgish dishes, grilled specialities, crêpes and street food. The Syndicat d'initiative Schengen's Hunnefeier page (read on 5 October 2026) announces the traditional tractor meet (Traktertreffen) as part of the festival: tractors arrive at 10:00 at Konzerwee 5 in Schengen (coffee and a croissant for each driver), the cortège leaves around 10:45 for the Schengen bridge and a tour, and returns to the Hunnefeier around 13:00.
