about the event
76th Olewig wine festival in Trier's winegrowers' district, Friday 31 July to Monday 3 August 2026, with the crowning of the new Trier wine queen. The Olewiger Straße closes to traffic and becomes a promenade, alongside the Klostergarten meadow and winegrowers' courtyards. Live music plays at Blesius Garten, Deutschherrenhof, St. Annenhof, the Electric Sunset Stage and the Klostergarten from 18:00, Sunday from 14:00. Barrel rolling in the Brettenbach starts Sunday 2 August at 15:00, the day of the charity run; special buses run Friday and Saturday evenings.
