Listed on sitraka.lu
sitraka.lu is an independent agenda of events in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, kept by one person, Sitraka Forler. If your event is on it, it is listed for free. This page explains how a listing works, gives you a small link to put on your own website, and the calendar file of your event.
The listing at a glance
- Cost
- Free. No fee, no paid placement, no account. Events are ordered by date.
- What is checked
- Date, time, venue and the official link, by hand, on your own page, before publication.
- The text
- Written for the listing from your official information, never copied.
- Where it appears
- Its own page, the agenda, its category and month pages, the public calendar feeds, and possibly the Monday and Thursday newsletter.
- Status
- If your event sells out or is cancelled, the page stays online and says so.
- Corrections
- Within 48 hours, by email.
1. Find your event
Type the name of your event (or its town) to get the exact link, the badge code and the calendar file for it.
2. The badge, for your website
A plain HTML link to your event's page on sitraka.lu. No image, no script, no tracking: it loads nothing from sitraka.lu and works in any website editor. Using it is entirely optional.
Without the search above, replace the address with the one of your event page:

3. Calendar files
- One event
- Every upcoming event page has a .ics file (for Apple Calendar, Outlook and others) and an “Add to Google Calendar” button. The address of yours is shown above once you pick your event.
- The whole agenda
- A calendar subscription that updates itself: webcal://sitraka.lu/events.ics
- One category
- Tech, finance, networking, culture, sport and other categories have their own feed, linked on each category page.
4. Not listed yet?
Send your event with its official link. Every proposal is read by hand; publication is not automatic.
5. Corrections and removal
Wrong date, new venue, sold out, cancelled, or you would rather not be listed: write to sitrakaforler@gmail.com with the address of the page. Corrections and removal requests are handled within 48 hours.
