Vianden's walnut market, running since 1970: the medieval old town fills with walnut liqueur, brandy, cakes, cheese and bread, plus live music. Second Sunday of October: 11 October 2026.
my takeUp to 20,000 people come for this: go early, use the free shuttle from Ettelbruck rather than fighting for parking under the castle. The nut brandy is the point.
