about the event
The next Veiner Nëssmoort, Vianden's nut market, is announced for Sunday 10 October 2027 in the medieval old town; the organiser adds that further information will follow. Organised by the Veiner Nëssmoort asbl, a partnership of local associations and businesses, the market is held every year on the second Sunday of October and draws up to 20,000 visitors. First held in 1935, it paused during the Second World War and from 1952 to 1969. Stalls offer nut specialities, with DJs and bands in the streets.
