my take
The classic family booking for the holidays, and an hour's drive beats the Luxembourg ticket scramble.
about the event
The Saarbrücken ballet brings back its Nutcracker in the Großes Haus from 12 December at 19:30, then 16 and 22 December, 26 December at 18:00, and 23 and 31 January. Recommended from age 6. Tickets through the theatre's shop; the 31 January performance is a 14:30 matinee.
