The classic family booking for the holidays, and a 45-minute drive beats the Luxembourg ticket scramble.

The Saarbrücken ballet brings back its Nutcracker in the Großes Haus from 12 December at 19:30, then 16 and 22 December, 26 December at 18:00, and 23 and 31 January. Recommended from age 6. Tickets through the theatre's shop; the Christmas dates sell out first.
