rainy days, the Philharmonie's contemporary music festival, runs from Tuesday 17 to Sunday 22 November 2026 on the theme Heat, curated by Catherine Kontz. The 2026 programme is online: the festival opens with the music-theatre piece L'Enfant-soldat née musique at the Théâtre National on 17 November at 19:30, moves to the Casino Luxembourg (Stijn Demeulenaere, 18 November at 19:30), then fills the Philharmonie's spaces from 19 November, among others with the Luxembourg Philharmonic in In the Furnace of Sound (19 November, 19:30), the headphone concert Super Sonic (20 November), the Arditti Quartet and Claude Lenners in White Heat (22 November, 15:00) and United Instruments of Lucilin with Ensemble Klang in Trance (22 November, 20:00). Passes (a four-day festival pass, or a day pass for 19, 20, 21 or 22 November) cover every event on the days they are valid for, except the Théâtre National performance, plus the Mudam exhibitions on those days.
