How this job-search workspace works

Work & Career is a free tool that runs entirely in your browser. It does one job: help you find a role that fits and get hired, with a pipeline you actually keep up to date.

    Browse the weekly public feed (Luxembourg, Paris, Berlin, London, New York, San Francisco, remote), paste a posting, or import a CSV.

    Assess

    Each posting gets a fit score against your profile, with the reasons shown line by line: skills, role, location, contract, keywords. No black box.

    Prioritise

    A clear verdict per posting (apply, consider, skip) and a dashboard that lists what to do next, overdue actions first.

    Apply and follow up

    Track every application in a table or a kanban board, with dated next steps and honest funnel statistics.

Where the postings come from

The public feed holds 381 current postings, refreshed on 7 September 2026 by an automated weekly run reading public job APIs (Greenhouse, Lever, SmartRecruiters, Arbeitnow, Remotive, Remote OK). Every title links to the employer's original posting; nothing is hosted here and no personal data is involved.

Private by design

Your profile, postings, applications and notes are stored in your browser (IndexedDB), never on a server. Signing in only shares your account identity with the sign-in provider to guard access; it uploads none of your job-search data. Like every page here, the site keeps anonymous page-view analytics. Export a JSON backup any time, and import it on another device.

Questions people ask

Is it free?
Yes, entirely. There is no paid tier, no ads, and no data resale: the tool costs nothing to run because it runs on your device.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser only (IndexedDB). Nobody else can see it, including the author of this site; only your account identity reaches the sign-in provider. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so export a backup from the Data & privacy tab.
Which cities does the job feed cover?
Luxembourg, Paris, Berlin, London, New York and San Francisco, plus a remote selection. The feed is refreshed once a week from public job APIs and always links to the original posting.
Is this a job board?
No. Postings are read from public APIs and shown as-is; the employer's page is the reference. The workspace is where you assess, track and prepare.
How is the fit score calculated?
A visible rule: skills (30 points), role and seniority (20), location and remote policy (15), contract type (15), wanted keywords (10), company and salary (10), minus 15 points per excluded keyword found and 10 if the posting requires a language you do not list. Every line is shown on the posting.
Can I use it in French?
Yes, the whole workspace exists in English and French. The RIASEC statements stay in English because the licence only allows exact copies of the validated instrument.
