About the event (2027 edition)
The Schueberfouer is Luxembourg's largest funfair and one of Europe's oldest, held annually on the Glacis field in Luxembourg City since 1340. What started as a market under a charter from John the Blind has grown into a three-week festival of rides, food stalls and live music that draws well over two million visitors each year. The fair typically runs from late August into September. Admission to the Glacis is free; rides and attractions are paid individually. A dedicated tram stop and park-and-ride shuttles serve the site. The opening ceremony on the first Friday, with fireworks over the Glacis, has become a summer tradition in the capital.
