About the event (2027 edition)
The Route du Vin Semi-Marathon follows the wine route along the Luxembourg Moselle between Remich and Stadtbredimus. The flat, riverside course runs past vineyards and wine cellars, making it one of the fastest half-marathon courses in the country. A 10 km and a 5 km road race start alongside the 21.1 km main event. The race is organised by a local running club. The 2027 edition takes place on Sunday 26 September 2027. The finish area in Remich sits on the Moselle promenade, where local winegrowers often set up tasting stands after the race.
The next Route du Vin is announced for Sunday 26 September 2027 in Remich, on the Luxembourg Moselle. Created in 1962, it is the oldest road race in Luxembourg athletics: a half marathon of 21.098 km with around 2,500 runners along the vineyard slopes; the organiser's site also lists 10 km and 5 km races. Since 2024 the course leaves Remich towards Stadtbredimus, comes back through Remich, heads for Schengen and finishes in Remich. Start times and registration for 2027 were not published on 29 September 2026; the site takes e-mail sign-ups.
