About the event (2026 edition)
The Chrëschtmoart is the Christmas market of Echternach, traditionally held on the third weekend of Advent. At the 2025 edition, about 40 decorated stalls filled the pedestrianised old town around the Basilica of Saint Willibrord and the Place du Marché, with a food court, outdoor fire pits, regional dishes and mulled wine, live music and dance, and activities for families.
