Preparing for Rad am Ring 2027?

Race day is Fri 23 Jul 2027, in 289 days. Counted back from that date, a two-week taper would start on Mon 12 Jul 2027; the planner lays out base, build and peak from the day you set it. The taper is the one phase with a meta-analysed optimum: about two weeks, training volume cut by 41 to 60 percent, intensity and frequency kept (Bosquet et al. 2007). A standard structure, not a training plan and not medical advice.

Car park A7 is open to all participants for a flat 10 € covering Friday to Sunday, paid once at entry or exit. Riders who only collect their pack on Friday may park free on car park A8 from 16:00 until it closes at 22:00. 24-hour riders and teams receive paddock entry passes by e-mail. Spectators and companions have free access almost everywhere: the organiser states the event is free of charge and barrier-free, and lists viewing points at Breidscheid, Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten.
