Running since 1980 and the single easiest big German party to reach from Luxembourg, with expected road closures across the centre.
about the event
Trier's biggest street festival takes over the old town for the last weekend of June, with live music on five big stages and many smaller ones, from Schlager and rock to jazz and funk, plus wine, beer and food stalls. It draws tens of thousands. Run by the city with Trier Tourismus und Marketing; the Sunday morning Trierer Stadtlauf is part of it.
