About the event (2026 edition)
The Wengert's Trail is a trail-running event through the Moselle vineyards above Remerschen and Schengen, in Luxembourg's southernmost wine-growing corner. Runners cross vine terraces, descend into wooded ravines and pass the European institutions' symbolic border crossing at Schengen. Three courses all start at 13:00: a timed 19 km trail plus 14 km and 9 km options that can be run or walked. The 13:00 start, the vineyard scenery and the post-race atmosphere at the Waistross starting area in Remerschen give the event a festive feel.

- Three courses, all starting at 13:00 on Sunday 11 October 2026 from 34 Waistross in Remerschen: a timed trail listed as "18 km Trailrunning (Avec chronométrage)" and measured at 19.00 km (minimum age 18), a 14 km run or walk (minimum age 16) and a 9 km run or walk (minimum age 8). The registration platform does not publish the elevation gain.
- How much does Wéngert's Trail 2026 cost and can I still register?
- Yes, entries are open on chiplauf until Thursday 8 October 2026 at 23:59 (registration opened on 15 June 2026). The fee is 23.00 euros for each of the three courses until 8 October; the same fee table also lists 25.00 euros for Saturday 10 October and 27.00 euros for race day, 11 October, after the online deadline, but the platform does not say where those late entries are taken. The fee includes a gift. On 28 September 2026 the participant list showed 125 entries on the 9 km, 107 on the 14 km and 46 on the 19 km trail; no participant limit is displayed.
