About the event (2026 edition)
The Ultra-Trail du Mullerthal (UTML) is a trail-running event based in Waldbillig, in the heart of Luxembourg's Mullerthal region, also known as Little Switzerland. Runners navigate the rocky, wooded trails that wind through the sandstone gorges, past waterfalls and moss-covered formations. The event offers distances from a 10 km trail run up to the 111 km ultra, with intermediate options around 30 km, 50 km and 80 km. The technical terrain and continuous climbs make it one of Luxembourg's most demanding trail events. Aid stations are staffed by local volunteers, and the atmosphere along the trails blends competitive racing with nature immersion.
