About the event (2026 edition)
The Tower Power Trail is a trail-running event that links the landmarks of the Clervaux area in northern Luxembourg's Oesling hills. The course connects the twisted spire at Weicherdange, the castle of Clervaux (home to the Family of Man exhibition) and the high plateau above the Our valley. Multiple distances are offered, from a short trail to a longer race that covers the full circuit of towers and viewpoints. The hilly terrain and forest trails make it a challenging event. The race is organised by a local athletics club. The 2026 edition took place on Saturday 29 August 2026.
Tenth edition of the trail linking the landmarks of the Clervaux area, from the twisted spire at Weicherdange to the castle and golf course. Three courses, each also open to walkers: 21 km with 727 m of climbing, 10 km with 309 m and 5 km with 114 m, all starting at 17:00. Three free children's races run at 15:15, 15:30 and 15:45 by age group, and there is a barbecue with live music at the finish.
my takeA 17:00 start means you finish in the evening light over the Clervaux valley, then eat on site. The children's races are free, which makes this one of the rare trails you can turn into a family outing.
