About the event (2026 edition)
LETZ MILE is a road mile race staged on a closed Avenue de la Liberte in Luxembourg City, the grand boulevard linking the Gare quarter to the Pont Adolphe. Elite men's and women's races, youth categories and an open popular race follow each other on the flat, straight course. The event is part of the national athletics calendar and attracts both international milers and recreational runners. The avenue's width and central location make it a natural amphitheatre for spectators. The 2026 edition took place on Saturday 12 September 2026.
Road mile staged on a closed Avenue de la Liberté, with elite men's and women's races, youth categories and an open popular mile. A 5 km race joins the programme in 2026. Organised by CAL Spora Luxembourg.
my takeOne mile, flat, straight down the city's grandest avenue with the road closed. It hurts for about six minutes and then it is over, which is the whole appeal.
