About the event (2026 edition)
The e-Lake Festival is a free open-air music festival by the lake in Echternach, Luxembourg's oldest town. Organised by the Club des Jeunes d'Echternach, the festival runs over three evenings in August, with bands and DJs performing on two stages set up along the lakeshore. The lineup spans rock, pop, electronic and local acts. Admission is free, and food trucks and bars line the site. The lake and the surrounding parkland provide a natural amphitheatre. Echternach is reachable by bus from Luxembourg City, and free shuttle services often run from the town centre to the festival grounds.
Free open-air music festival by Lake Echternach with bands and DJs on two stages, 7 to 9 August 2026. The Club des Jeunes Echternach youth club runs it at the lake's leisure centre, where it has been held since 1996. The 2026 edition mixed rock, pop, indie and hip-hop concerts with house, trance and techno. It opened at 18:00 on the Friday and at 15:00 on Saturday and Sunday. A free shuttle bus ran, cash was not accepted for food and drinks, and under-16s needed a parent with them.
