About the event (2026 edition)
Anno 1900: Steampunk Convention is a themed weekend at Minett Park Fond-de-Gras, the industrial heritage site near Niederkorn in southern Luxembourg. The park's preserved mine buildings, narrow-gauge railway and blast-furnace ruins provide an authentic backdrop for steampunk costumes, mechanical art installations, Victorian market stalls and live performances. The Train 1900 heritage railway runs special services during the event. Visitors dress in period attire, and a costume contest is part of the programme. The 2026 edition took place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026. The convention is one of the largest steampunk gatherings in the Greater Region.
A steampunk weekend at Minett Park Fond-de-Gras: mechanical creations, Victorian market stalls, costumes, and artistic and musical performances in and around the former Paul Wurth power station. Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, 11:00 to 18:00.
my takeThe costumes alone are worth the trip: kids stare, adults take notes.
