about the event
Rosa Karneval, Trier's queer carnival organised by the association Schmit-Z, holds four sessions at the Messepark in 2027: Friday 29 and Saturday 30 January, then Friday 5 and Saturday 6 February. For the first session the venue lists doors at 18:30 and a start at 20:11. The 2027 edition has a medieval theme, with knights, jesters and minstrels, under the motto that queer foolery knows neither rank nor borders. As read on 13 October 2026, the Messepark says tickets for all sessions will go on sale soon.
