A five-month run means you can slot it into any Metz trip, and Galerie 2 is the good one for painting.
about the event
A monographic show in Galerie 2 devoted to Séraphine Louis, the cleaning woman turned self-taught painter discovered by Wilhelm Uhde. It runs through the winter and into spring, so there is no rush. Museum admission applies; the site also lists talks around the exhibition, including a behind-the-scenes talk by the curator and the head of scenography on 22 October in the auditorium, before the opening.
