The most substantive Apple item on the autumn calendar for anyone in video delivery, and the one where being nine time zones away costs you nothing beyond a late evening. HLS is an IETF specification, so the discussion is genuinely technical rather than a product pitch.

about the event
An online broadcast for engineers working with HTTP Live Streaming, with presentations from Apple and other members of the HLS community plus a live question and answer session with Apple engineers. The stream runs 18:00 to 23:00 Luxembourg time and registration on Apple's events site closes at 23:00 the same day. Attending in Cupertino in person requires a separate application.
