my take
Madine is a proper lake with space to camp, so this works as a weekend rather than a morning. The S format is short enough to be a first triathlon.
about the event
Two-day triathlon festival on the Lac de Madine, roughly midway between Metz and Nancy. Saturday holds the L half-distance of 1.9 km swim, 85 km bike and 21 km run; Sunday the S format at 09:00 and the M format at 13:30, alongside children's races and a standalone 7 km run. Each format has a capped field.
