SUMMARY:29e Wämper Triathlon
LOCATION:Centre de loisirs\, Weiswampach\, Luxembourg
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20260822
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20260824
DESCRIPTION:Two-day triathlon at the Weiswampach lakes\, in its 29th e
dition. Saturday 22 August 2026 ran the youth and kids' races from 11
:00\, the sprint triathlon at 13:00 and the three-person relay and th
e discovery triathlon at 15:00. Sunday 23 August held the Wämper Lof
 \, a road run over 5 km and 10 km\, at 10:00\, kids' runs from 11:00
and the Olympic triathlon at 13:05.\n\nMy take: The relay is the way
in if a full triathlon still sounds absurd: three people\, one leg ea
ch\, same finish line. Weiswampach is 45 minutes north of the city an
d the lake makes it a decent family day out. Official results are pub
lished on the ultratiming page linked above.\n\nhttps://sitraka.lu/ev

SUMMARY:Light On Tri Madine 2026
LOCATION:Lac de Madine\, Nonsard-Lamarche\, Meuse\, France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20260919
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20260921
DESCRIPTION:Two-day triathlon festival on the Lac de Madine\, roughly
midway between Metz and Nancy. Saturday holds the L half-distance of
 1.9 km swim\, 85 km bike and 21 km run\; Sunday the S format at 09:00
and the M format at 13:30\, alongside children's races and a standal
one 7 km run. Each format has a capped field.\n\nTime: 09:30 (Luxembo
urg)\n\nMy take: Madine is a proper lake with space to camp\, so this
works as a weekend rather than a morning. The S format is short enou
gh to be a first triathlon.\n\nhttps://sitraka.lu/events/2026-09-19-l
